Meditation and It´s Benefits

In todayś hectic world it seems to get harder and harder to gain a sense of inner peace and well being. Work, school, family and other obligations consume so much of our time. Over time, life´s pressures take an enormous toll on our overall health-- be it physical, emotional or spiritual. There must be some way that we can regain and maintain stability in our lives. One tried and true way of achieving this is through the practice of meditation. Let´s briefly explore some various types of meditation and their benefits.    Meditation  Types Guided meditation. Thank God for technology!

 ¨Thank God for technology!¨ This exclamation came from a senior friend of mine as we worked on a project. My friend is from the Baby Boomer generation while I´m a Gen Xer. He and I come from two generations with distinct relationships to technology. However, despite the distinction we seem somewhat lacking when it comes to our computer literacy. Unlike Millenials and Gen Z, the more mature generations find it a bit harder to navigate a world brimming with cutting edge tech.  Hang on a minute. Before anyone over forty gets discouraged about your lack of tech skills consider this. In addition to modern gadgets, both Boomers and Gen Xers have experience with  digital and analog technology. From the traditional wristwatch and alarm clocks to manual typewriters and rotary telephones, the more mature set in our society have a wealth of experience operating various forms technology from a bygone era-- forms of technology that your average Millenial or Gen Z can only imagine....
